UFT gears new Product design for Noise vibration and harness system (NVH) for the leading automobile OEM Tata motors (TML) company for new Passengers Car program.

Business challenge:

  • Leading OEM TML decided to outsource the NVH component new design, due to multiple programs running at same time.
  • OEM Company decided to outsource work for one of the Manufacturing supplier as turnkey Project. since they doesn’t have design capability for this project .
  • Since they don’t have design capability and competency for this project. TML Suggested Manufacturer to work with Exiting Design services supplier of NVH Product UFTC for end-to-end solution and Co-ordinations between TML and Manufacturer for single point of communication.

UFT comes into show:

  • UFT acted as a bridge for TML and Manufacturer, where with the updated input collected from different departments, discussed with the manufactured for the manufacturing process and also that all information UFTC created concept Design for the NVH Components.
  • This concept was discussed with OEM time to time, Manufacturer and Review with Project department of TML to get Approval of Six NVH Components.
  • UFT Manage with related product design changes on different related assembly components since it ongoing programs on timeline and change NVH components .
  • UFT designed Detail Product designed in Catia V5 Software ,tools and fixtures for manufacturing of new NVH Components ,submitted to TML in 3D format for the approval . After several meeting with related departments of TML , freeze the design and supply the Manufacturing drawings and Supply to Manufacture.

  • Reduce 30% operating and design cost since competency of UFT engineers worked on the project .
  • Minimum effort and challenges for the client UFT worked on onsite and offshore models.
